My husband and I stayed there last summer and really had a great time. Everyone was so nice and friendly. We have been considering putting our trailer there on a seasonal basis but aren't quite sure now. We were there a couple of weekends ago and had another great time. The place was packed full. There are new owners who are real nice people but we're not sure about some of what we saw when walking the park. There's a site that gets filled up with a persons pickup truck AND his flat bed trailer with his two ATV's parked on it. Down the road from that is another site filled up with a truck and enclosed utility trailer parked on it. The rest of that site is essentially all covered by two separate very large decks. We were sure the old owners told us decks were limited to the length of the trailer and about 8 or 10 feet. Then there's one site just past the washrooms. We saw it last year and assumed it was work in progress. It's still the same as it was last year. A massive pile of bricks piled up against a shed almost 5 ft high, a couple of piles of gravel, a picnic table standing on end leaning against the trailer and a lean-to behind the shed with a bunch of "junk" under it. Clean these three out of character situations up and we would put our trailer there in an instant. The rest of the sites seem to be impressively neat and cared for.

The owners were so sweet and helpful. They gave me many options as to which site I could have. Tenting sites were extremely small and close together. Fortunately they weren't full so I could pick one of the bigger ones. Otherwise I would have been uncomfortable in one of the smaller ones. Mosquitoes were insane so make sure you are prepared. They also gave me the option of a luxury trailer and offered me a discount! Pool was clean and so were the washrooms. I did have to use a portapotty since I was in the back and after the second day it was getting pretty bad from sitting in the sun and having a whole family plus me using it. If you are looking to party, this is not your campground. Very quiet and family/kid oriented.

Bell Falls is like a second home to us and our children. It is a small family oriented park with campers who have stayed many years for just that reason. The pool is beautiful, the park is clean and well kept, and the new owners are phenomenal. If you're looking for a relaxing summer stay I honestly do not think it gets much better then Bell Falls. At any time you can see the park owners walking around helping out campers , cleaning & maintaining the grounds, the office store carries all sorts of amazing local products (way to support other local family businesses BF!), the pool area feels very tropical and relaxing (nice loungers, oversized umbrella's, plants & fun cushions). They also rent trailers on sites which makes it easy for those who love to camp but are not really into "tenting". I came for a night and haven't let since ... its been 7 years!! Obviously I can not say enough about this place so I highly recommend giving it a try ... its a guarantee good time.

We took our trailer and our two small kids (age 1 and 3) up to Bell Falls campground last weekend on a whim for Christmas in July not knowing what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised to find a very family-friendly campground. The owners are fantastic, making time to talk with everyone even though they have a million and one things to do! They were very helpful and accommodating, offering to help back trailers into sites and set up tents should you need an extra hand.

The pool area and washrooms were very clean and well-kept. There was no garbage anywhere. Campsites have been looked after. You can see the owners as well as campers take pride in their campground. Most things are available at the front office for convenience. However, you are also a stone's throw from a few towns, though you would never know it.

Everyone was so pleasant and friendly. I actually felt like a kid again playing with our kids there. People really got into the "Christmas Spirit" with a lovely community turkey dinner and even a visit from a vacationing St. Nick for the kids!

To sum it up, if you are looking for a place to party and be loud till all ends of the night, this is NOT the campground for you. If you are looking for that family and community experience, where you can let your kids run around like you did when you were young, then I definitely recommend this campground.

Nice, clean park operated by a great family! The swimming pool is awesome on a hot day! Close to a great running/biking trail and ATV trails. Beaver ponds and nice waterfall. Accommodates all types of campers. Would stay again.

The actual river and swimming hole is at the back of the campground, which makes for a nice little hike and paddle if you want to only dip your feet.
